    After watching BBQ showdown on TV, we decided to go get some BBQ. And what better place than Famous Dave's. It was a nice day so we sat out in the patio. We had the 59. Cent wings, and we got the 3 meat lunch combo. Combined we had BBQ chicken, St Luis pork ribs, burnt ends and sweet water catfish. As for our sides we had corn on the cob and baked beans. The star of the meal was the sweet water catfish ( it was GOOD) the wings were the next favorite. ( and for 59 cents?!? You can't beat that) Everything else was also good, the brisket was tender along with the burnt ends( however the burnt ends had alittle to much salt but with a dash of sauce fixed that right up) the waitress was good no complaints she was as very busy and told us she was relatively new.

    What a wonderful experience. Arrived about 7:00 pm, was greeted by a friendly hostess, our wait was approximately 5 mins. We were seated and our waiter Kevin, who took our order, I was on the phone of course talking to the bank, but he patiently waited. Once I was done we ordered a few drinks and the dinner began. We order the rib tips, I was not impressed, they were tough and dry, I managed to get them down with water. Next we ordered the feast for two, it was more like a feast for 4, soooo much food for 59.00, I was obviously impressed, it came with ribs, chicken, French fries , mashed potatoes, beans, corn bread and corn, this was enough food for a small ball team, and guess what ? The food was great, flavorful. The hubster and I truly enjoyed it.. The sauces were good, the devil spit was something to talk about, I am not sure who the hell Wilbur is, but his revenge, is about xxxhot, stay away. Overall, the experience was good, the food was good, just stay from the rib tips, Kevin was a great waiter, very attentive
